There may be no good pun on Rough Trade and Love Da Popcorn (apologies for the attempt in the title), but that hasn't deterred us!
Coming soon Rough Trade Brick Lane will be holding film nights every month, as if introducing us to amazing new music wasn't enough, and Love Da Popcorn will be there.
Even better than that (for you...), your popcorn comes free with your ticket. There will also be more to buy on the night, because cunningly we know a small bag of white chocolate will be nowhere near large enough once you have tried it. mwahaha.

The Nomad Partnership is here!
We are super excited to reveal our latest collaboration, with The Nomad.
Run by the incredible Lexi Cinema in Kensal Rise (the UK’s first social enterprise boutique cinema don't you know) and The Screen on the Green, Nomad are bringing popup films to London and the South East.
And though we can't reveal what films will be showing yet, it is a fantastic list of ones we love and those we have always wanted to see. Love Da Popcorn will be there, plying our usual blend of popcorn selling, and equally enthusiastic hat wearing.
Look at our events section for more info on where the next Nomad will be and check out their website for tickets. They will be happening thorughout the summer.
The only way we can illustrate how happy we are is through this picture of Christian.

Glade Festival- A muddy delight
The Love Da Popcorn boys have a history of getting ourselves into sticky situations, and Glade Festival was one of the stickiest yet.
A list of things which went wrong at Glade:
- Our Marquee blew away on on the final day and we had to chase after it
- We forgot all our vintage wallpaper we going to use to cover the marquee
- It rained almost non-stop
- We lost the van keys 5 times in total (but found them each time)
That said we think it was still a success. We succeeded in building a comfy living room in the middle of a field, complete with leather Chesterfield Sofa, vintage china cups, a 50s radio and of course, delicious popcorn served from our suitcases. We succeeded in getting a man to stick a lot of wooden pegs on his face. And we also sold (and consumed) a lot of tea and toast from our big comfy sofa.
Have a look at the photos and look out for us at more festivals in the future (by which point we will have bought more sturdy tent pegs).

How Bazaar?
This week Harper's Bazaar featured Love Da Popcorn as one of its "Sophisticate Sweets". Thanks for the mention guys and we're glad you enjoyed your popcorn.
A bigger thanks though for comparing us to Monty Python. Insulting to Micheal Palin et al, but it has made us exceedingly happy.

The Battle Of Algiers
Our second Secret Cinema event is now well and truly finished. In a spectacle to rival the film itself, viewers were transported to French Algiers to experience the incredible "Battle of Algiers". There was music, there was French riviera culture, there was intrigue and explosions.
Love Da Popcorn as always supplied delicious white chocolate, caramel and salt and black pepper popcorn to the masses. It was also the debut for our newest flavour- Whoopsie Daisies. Just like Penicillin and the printing press, Whoopsie Daisies came about by accident, when Christian mixed some white choc and some salty together. What could have been a disaster turned out to create an incredible new flavour (though Tom still disagrees). A popcorn revelation- Check it out at our next event.
There's also pictures galore for you to gaze at, in our photos section.
Bring on the next one.
