Our second Secret Cinema event is now well and truly finished. In a spectacle to rival the film itself, viewers were transported to French Algiers to experience the incredible "Battle of Algiers". There was music, there was French riviera culture, there was intrigue and explosions.
Love Da Popcorn as always supplied delicious white chocolate, caramel and salt and black pepper popcorn to the masses. It was also the debut for our newest flavour- Whoopsie Daisies. Just like Penicillin and the printing press, Whoopsie Daisies came about by accident, when Christian mixed some white choc and some salty together. What could have been a disaster turned out to create an incredible new flavour (though Tom still disagrees). A popcorn revelation- Check it out at our next event.
There's also pictures galore for you to gaze at, in our photos section.
Bring on the next one.

Secret Cinema- photos and video

We have completed our first Secret Cinema event and are happy to say it went swimmingly. The event was a huge success, with over 160,000 people attending over 18 days. There was dancing, performance, art, and of course popcorn. Have a look at the video above for a flavour of the event, and have a look at the photo section for some great photos from us and the fantastic Cara Dowd.
Catch us at the next Secret Cinema event but until the get in touch with us on the Facebook page to tell us if you tried our popcorn or have any suggestions.

The Secret Cinema Partnership is here!
Love Da Popcorn promised big news and here it is. We are proud, and more than a bit excited, to announce a partnership with Secret Cinema!!
Secret Cinema, and Future Shorts create live cinema experiences like no other. They are the principle forces behind a new resurgence in film culture (we believe) and creators of some of the most amazing film experiences of the last few years. They have been described as the saviour of cinema, the best movie night out in Britain and the true spirit of underground cinema. And we agree! Love Da Pop are big fans of creating a new and revitalized cinema, and making people smile through a bit of surprise and mystery. So we hope it is the perfect match.
We will be supplying them with our trademark white chocolate, salt and pepper and caramel Kiss flavours. But we are also planning night and day in Love Da Popcorn Towers (sometimes even sleeping there) to create some amazing new flavours. "Merry Popcorn everyone", which includes cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves is my favourite, but we are also experimenting with chili, candy floss, and peanut butter.
So look out for us at the next Secret Cinema event. And remember, tell no-one.
